Guidelines for Worship Services

at Our Savior’s Lutheran

Online worship:

Online and indoor worship services will take place congruently on the OSLC Facebook page. In the event that an indoor worship does not occur, online worship will still take place.

Parking lot worship:

Indoor worship will be narrow cast on 88.8 FM and will be available to listen to in your car in the church parking lot, if you prefer.

  • All services will be held on Sunday morning at 9 a.m.

  • If you are not feeling well, please stay home and worship with us online.

We understand that some members may not feel comfortable returning to indoor worship at this time and we respect that decision.  Please continue to worship with us in whatever way works best for you at this time and know we are all joined together through the Holy Spirit.

Due to the unpredictability of Covid-19, please remain informed of our guidelines and potential cancellations by following the OSLC Facebook Page and our website. If you prefer notification via email or phone call, please call the office 792-5346 and let us know of this preference.

Please stay informed, be safe, and God’s Peace to all.

These guidelines were developed with guidance from the Governor’s Executive Orders, MN Dept of Health (MDH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Northeastern Minnesota Synod, OSLC SMART Team (SMART= Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-Bound) and OSLC Church Council. Please visit for more detailed information.

An update from the S.M.A.R.T. Team:

The Covid-19 Delta variant has been shown to spread amongst vaccinated people.

We want everyone to have a safe and comfortable worship experience at Our Savior's.

Nothing is changing at Our Savior's at this time but we will be monitoring the local situation.

In the meantime, we want to remind everyone of the safety features that are already in place:

  • Consider wearing a mask during worship.

  • Wash your hands regularly or use the provided hand sanitizer.

  • Stay home if you do not feel well.

  • Self-communion packets remain available, just grab one on your way in.

  • It is OK not to touch during the sharing of the peace, simply wave or bow toward others.

  • Socially distance where space allows.

  • You don't have to shake the Pastor's hand (I asked him, he is fine with it).

  • Pastor Luke will return to wearing a mask while administering communion.

  • Worship at home is always an option. We invested in state-of-the-art equipment for a high quality streaming service.
